David Turner > 1935 Duesenberg Model SJ "Duesenberg Special," J-557 / Unnumbered, owned by Harry Yeaggy of OH. This was Ab Jenkins's record-setting Bonneville Speed Flats car, which Jenkins later modified for use as a daily driver. It holds the record as the most expensive Duesenberg ever sold at auction when Yeaggy bought it for $4.455 million. The current restoration was done by Chris Charlton, bringing the car back to its original record-setting appearance, complete with Firestone "orangewalls," and won Best of Show at Pebble Beach.
David Turner > 1933 Duesenberg Model SJ Brunn Riviera Phaeton, J-525 / 2555, owned by Jim Schneck of WI. Another mostly unrestored and original car, which is believed to have been originally shown at the 1933 Chicago Salon, and has a damascened engine for show. The original owner was Donald Hirsch of New York City.
